Children's Mobile Response and stabilization services (MRSS)
The Mobile Response and Stabilization Services are provided to youth who exhibit emotional or behavioral challenges that may jeopardize their current living arrangements. They provide face to face crisis response within one hour of notification through PerformCare. The goal is to stabilize behavior and prevent loss of ability to remain in the home . Families of youth discharged from a psychiatric screening center are automatically eligible for MRSS. If desired, MRSS is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can offer up to eight weeks of stabilization services.
Parents only, can contact Mobile Crisis Intervention through PERFORMCARE - 1-877-652-7624
School Personnel can assist parents by contacting PERFORMCARE at school, as long as the child is still on the premises. Mobile Response will come to the school for the childs' evaluation.
**If the child is currently receiving services from the Unified Care Management Organization, a call should first be made to their assigned Care Manager. If the Care Manager does not respond within 20 minutes, parents should call PERFORMCARE FOR CRISIS INTERVENTION.
